Services offered at the day Centre.

Luv N Care will develop a person-centred plan for each individual according to their preferences.

01. Numeracy and Literacy

Improve expressive and receptive language, communication skills, verbal and non -verbal by using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication Skill).

02. Computer Skills

Learn how to use a computer or tablet devices, communication devices to improve social interaction.

03. Life Skills

Learn shopping skills, laundry using equipment for home maintenance, bed making and recycling.

04. Fitness & Sports

Lawn bowls, yoga, swimming, trampolining, bike riding, golfing, fishing and variety of sports, walking groups, according to individual preference.

05. Gardening

Learn basic garden maintenance and how to grow and harvest a veggie patch.

06. Shopping for cooking

Write a shopping list, shop for ingredients, manage money and learn to source recipes and cook a meal to enhance independent living skills.

07. Music & Dancing.

Enjoy barbeque and disco night. (Friday)

08. Music Programme

Learn to play piano and enjoy playing musical instruments.

09. Movie and cinema club

Visit the cinema or watch a movie on a big screen.

10. Travel Training

Gain experience using myki and learn to use public transport.

11. Market visits

For fun and shopping, visit Melbourn marketplaces.

12. Volunteering

Develop leadership skills, volunteering in Salvos, Damper Creek (taking responsibility for the environment)

Understanding that each individual has unique needs, we offer customized support designed to foster self-reliance. Our experienced team works closely with each participant and their families, providing guidance in areas like daily living, mobility, and communication, to ensure everyone has the tools for success.
